Cartoon Movie is an indispensable business event for the European animation industry, which has facilitated the creation of long-lasting partnerships and co-productions, allowing the funding of animated feature films since 1999 with the support of the MEDIA Programme of the European Union.

This year, Cartoon Movie will be held digitally for the first time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cartoon Movie 2021 will start on 9th March on a special online platform dedicated to the event.

The video pitches of selected projects for Cartoon Movie 2021 will be watched by animation professionals from all of Europe, including producers, creators, investors, distributors and sales agents of animated feature films, video games and new media.
