1. Introduction
From 16th to 19th September 2024, the 35th Cartoon Forum will be held in Toulouse, France. Cartoon Forum has been the core event for the growth of co-production and distribution of European animation for television and new media platforms since 1990. It has helped finance 997 animation projects since its inception.
Projects Selected from 19 Countries
75 projects from 20 European countries (where the main producers are located) have been selected for pitching at Cartoon Forum 2024 from 107 submissions. France leads the selection with 36 projects, followed by Ireland with 7 projects, Italy with 6 projects, Germany with 5 projects, and Denmark and Spain each with 3 projects. Furthermore, 3 projects pitched at the Cartoon Springboard, an event for young talents, were selected for Cartoon Forum 2024: Bitches by Caïmans Productions (France), All Good by Glow (Spain), and No Pets! by Nuvole e Strike (Italy).
