1. Presenting 84 New TV Animation Projects
From 20th to 23rd September 2021, the 32nd Cartoon Forum will be held in Toulouse, France. Cartoon Forum has been the core event for the growth of co-production and distribution of European animation for television and new media platforms since 1990. It has helped finance 866 TV animation projects, funding over 3.1 billion EUR since its inception.
Projects Selected from 21 Countries
84 projects from 21 countries have been selected for pitching at Cartoon Forum 2021 from 141 submissions. France leads the selection with 33 projects, followed by Ireland with 11 projects, Germany with 8 projects and Spain with 6 projects. Furthermore, four projects pitched at the Cartoon Springboard, an event for young talents, were selected for Cartoon Forum 2021: Anselmo Wannabe (Italy), Hygge (Germany), What it Takes (France) and Space Ham (Denmark).
